A year of experiments, recipes, and trial and error goes into creating perfect scents and soy wax blends that will be hand-poured into luxurious candles that are uniquely Pakistani at heart!
NOV 2021
Designed to be uniquely Pakistani at heart, Jugnu begins with an initial batch of 4 signature scents – each inspired by and named after iconic Pakistani music. Disco Deewane, Koko Korina, Halka Halka Suroor and Chandni Raatein – our iconic Motia scent and a best-seller to date.
JAN 2022
Within two short months, the initial batch of 100 candles is sold out with people asking for more. A very big sale for a very small business and a sign that things are meant to be.
FEB 2022
Jugnu’s first pop-up with a small table at PitStop. A small beginning to a journey of 20+ exhibitions in Karachi, Lahore, and even in Dubai! This is also where our
signature Jugnu Gajra – now a must at every event – made its debut.
NOV 2022
Our signature Urdu typography hoodies launch and are sold out almost immediately. Tee shirts soon follow.
DEC 2022
Jugnu’s beautiful custom minis are launched and make the perfect giveaways and keepsakes for weddings, birthdays, and corporate events. Custom candles become a regular request with multiple bulk orders each month.
DEC 2022 - PRESENT
Jugnu candles travel across the globe with our international shipping options and along with customers taking them as gifts for loved ones abroad. From the US, Canada and UK to Zimbabwe, and Australia, Jugnu receives overwhelming love and becomes an
instant favorite with the Pakistani diaspora as candles that remind them of
home.

Jugnu launches Jashn-e-Baharan, our first seasonal and themed launch. The collection is an instant success and Pehli Si Mohabbat (Nargis) becomes one of our best-selling
candles to date.

Starting out with a single rack at Object in Dolmen Mall Clifton, Jugnu is now available at 20+ locations in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Dubai, with more soon to follow!
